Twelve Literary Arts @ Famicos Foundation, 1325 Ansel Road, Cleveland, OH 44106. The Barbara Smith Writer-in-Residence Program is open to established and emerging writers of color from Northeast Ohio and from outside the region. Residencies of 4 writers per year of one to three months. Residents provided with stipend, office space, and an apartment (for non-regional writers). Residents must give a public reading and be available for local media requests. Prospective residents must be nominated by editors, agents, or other professionals. Open to poets, fiction writers, journalists, essayists, and playwrights. (literary arts)
