The Writer’s Center awards three fellowships annually to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers. Fellows living within a 250-mile radius of Bethesda, MD receive $250; others receive $500. Fellows invited to give a public reading at the center. Poets with no more than 3 books and prose writers with no more than 2 books are eligible. Submit up to 10 pages of poetry or 16 pages of prose, a cv, and letter of interest. No entry fee.
